Dan McGuinness / Blue Moon Swamp - The John Fogerty / CCR Tribute Band

Lead Vocals / Guitar

To call Dan McGuinness a singer is an understatement.

Dan's voice harkens a listener's memory back to a time when Blue Eyed Soul ruled the radio. Full and powerful, Dan's voice can go from edgy and rough to soft and delicate in an instant. His incredible range and perfect pitch are complimented by his expert technique and his soft touch.

In constant demand as a singer, songwriter, performer and radio broadcaster, Dan is no longer Chicago's best kept secret. A childhood fan of John Fogerty and CCR, Dan grew up listening to every album and bootleg he could get his hands on. His interpretation and delivery of the songs are right on the mark and he consistently wows audiences with his live performances.

As a singer, McGuinness has opened up for, sat in or performed with various bands through the years including Pat Benetar, Jerry Jeff Walker, Johnny Hickman of Cracker, Danny Rhodes & The Messengers, Paula Nelson Band, Peter White, Mindi Abair, Bobby Caldwell among others & most notably with Stu Cook & Doug "Cosmo" Clifford of the legendary touring group, Creedence Clearwater Revisited.

Dan has won Chicagoland's "2010 Suburban NiteLife's Best of the Burbs 'BEST ACOUSTIC SOLO PERFORMER' award" for 2010. It was his second time winning the award. [First was in 2007].

Dan's up-coming solo CD, October Bonfire, is getting closer to release. However, two new songs from the album are now available online. The album E-P will be released soon digitally, online! Check out his website below to preview and download the songs now! This is Dan's first release of new music since Blue Diamond Revival in 2004. Stay tuned here for more information.
